Poking around Wildsea again, and I like how there are sample terrain/settings, two pages each, and includes some sample Tracks of varying size. A nice, compact way to explain different parts of the world (The Skies, The Thrash, The Tangle, The Sink and the Drown) and sample troubles that the party could encounter. Actually, let me take The Tangle, and give you each of the subheads here.
- Potential Hooks (7 items)
- Potential Encounters (11 items)
- Describing the Tangle (From a secure position) (Describes general and as how the senses perceive it)
- Describing the Tangle (From a perilous position) (More hostile sense descriptors)
- Locations (Ruin, Old Wreck, Reef, Low Port, includes potential resources that could be found)
- Sidebar with the following sample tracks, with how many steps in [] (Up From Beneath [4], No Way Forward [5], No Bread Crumbs [5], Teeming with Life [4], Disembodied Voice [5], Updraft [5])
It's neat.
